The red wine kit on sale is Spanish Tempranillo– gorgeous ruby red in colour, this medium-bodied wine is Spain’s answer to Cabernet Sauvignon, with berry, plum and herbal notes running to a lush finish of tobacco, leather and vanilla. Barossa Valley Shiraz with crushed grape skins
We are excited to announce a new wine kit added to the 8 week ultra premium Eclipse line. This style of big, full bodied Shiraz with rich notes of chocolate and spice has become synonymous with Barossa Valley and Australian wine in general. Aromas of robust blackberry, peppercorns and smoked meat. Full-bodied yet smooth with big, dark, peppery fruit and plush texture on the palate. This full-bodied wine needs an equally rich dish to stand up to its big aromas and flavours. Think thick stews, or grilled steaks with sauteed mushrooms. South African Shiraz/Cabernet blend is the red wine for January. This classic blend showcases the depth and ripeness of these intense grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon’s classic character of blackberry, currants, black cherry and cedar blend seamlessly with the densely packed berry, chocolate, espresso and pepper characters of Shiraz, with a hint of earthiness. South African Viognier/CheninBlanc/Roussanne blend is the white wine for January. The three grapes make a unique wine of elegance, power and delicacy: crisp, but honeyed, with aromas of apricot, orange blossoms, herbal tea and melons give way to a medium body and a long rich finish of floral notes.
