Big News for January
Happy New Year!
We hope you all had an excellent Christmas season. With plenty of good friends, good food, and of course good wine. We had a fabulous vacation in Costa Rica, and are fully rested and energized to start the new year.
First, the BIG NEWS. After 22 years in business we have decided to change our hours. Yes, you read that correctly. We are changing our hours.
Effective Tuesday January 17 the new hours will be:
Tuesday – Friday open 10 AM until 6 PM (1 hour earlier start & finish)
Saturday open 9 AM until 4 PM (closing 1 hour earlier)
Sunday & Monday & Stat Holidays remain the same – CLOSED
We seem to have less demand for late bottling and more for early bottling. We will of course stay open late by appointment. So if you need to come for later bottling just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.
Now on to the really important stuff, what’s on sale this month? The busy Christmas season is over, we are all back to work and back to school. After all that entertaining and gift giving, it must be time to restock your wine cellar.

The red wine on sale is Vieux Chateau du Roi: Robust, rounded and smooth, the bouquet of berries and flavours of ripe plum are beautifully integrated into an elegantly structured finish with hints of oak that will reward ageing. In our 4 week international World Vineyard line we have on sale this month Spanish Tempranillo: Gorgeous ruby red in colour, this medium-bodied wine is Spain’s answer to Cabernet Sauvignon, with berry, plum and herbal notes running to a lush finish of tobacco, leather and vanilla. Serve with roast pork, sheep’s milk cheeses, roasted vegetables or lamb. And California Moscato: Lush, fruity, and delightfully sweet with juicy peach and tropical fruit flavours. Save $15 when you make a batch in the store or take the kit home and make it yourself.

The LE16 limited edition wine kits have started arriving. The January releases are Italian Vermentino and Washington State Cabernet Franc. If you pre-ordered these wine kits we will be contacting you shortly. If you did not pre-order and think you want them, please let us know as soon as possible. We have a couple of extra kits, but they won’t last long.
