Today is National Zinfandel Day. Long considered the signature wine of California, it is also grown in Australia, Croatia (crljenak kaštelanski) and Italy (Primitivo).
Raise a glass tonight of your favourite Zin, either a bold and spicy red wine or sweet, pink-colored rosé.
National Zinfandel Day is the 3rd Wednesday in November. This year that is November 20th.
