Shiraz Day

The 4th annual Shiraz Day takes place on the fourth Thursday in July, this year that is July 25th, and anyone who loves a good red wine must join this toasting day. The first documented records of Shiraz vine cuttings come from 1830. Scotsman James Busby, a pioneering viticulturist, moved to Australia in 1824 and imported the vine cuttings of Shiraz, perhaps not knowing that it would become an iconic red varietal that is savored and celebrated all over the world! It is one of the most famous red wines in the world, with a reputation for being rich and full bodied with velvety tannin. Cooked black fruit flavours of blackberry and plum with layered notes of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, pepper and spice present in this fan favourite wine.

To honour this day ALL of our Shiraz wine kits are $15 off. Private Reserve 8 week Shiraz from Barossa Valley Australia, Reserve 6 week Shiraz from Australia and Classic 4 week Shiraz from California.
